Mrs. Micikas

I enjoyed listening to Mrs. Micikas' story, I think that no one in our school can imagine what it's like to live in that sort of an atmosphere. I agree with what Mrs. Meyer said that it is comforting to know that a person of that sort of intelligence not only came to know God, but walked away and then came back because it was the only really solid thing to stand on. It's people like Mrs. Micikas that make me wonder how anyone who claims to be more intelligent because of their lack of faith can say they are more intelligent than the Christians. Anyone who calls all Christians stupid, I point you toward Micikas.

Play

The play we went to was possibly the worst play i've ever been to. Which is including middle school plays. The actors weren't bad and i don't blame them at all for the bad writing. Its not good when everyone is looking around at each other wondering if everyone else is as confused as they are. I will admit that i think they did a better job bringing it together in the middle but the beginning and end were really bad. It's hard to be a great actor when your dealing with something that you just have to know that no one is appreciating fully.

Smells like Denver Chrisrtian Spirit!

I feel like homecoming week, as a student, is very worthwhile.....we get shorter periods we get to laugh....what's not to like. I feel like there is very little tradition in our homecoming. I think it would be better if there was but I think when we cut out the half days of working on our activities it sucked a lot of the fun out of it. I think homecoming tries to create unity throughout the classes while it may accomplish this within the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes, i think it may temporarily tear the school, as a whole, apart.
